Audit PHP Configuration Security

Update: June 10th, 2009

How often do you come across a brand-new site? Well, this would be one of those.

I am working to put together some more tools though, for now, there is just the PHP Security Audit script.

What's next? I'd like to set up a blog, a PHP security site directory, and a few tutorials - if you have any suggestions for content (or if you would like to contribute) please contact me.

Is your PHP installation secure?

It's probably not a question which keeps you up at night - but if you depend upon the security of your website, you should know that there is a good chance that the security of your PHP configuration is being tested (quite possibly while you sleep).

No one wants to wake up to a defaced site, lost data, and the attendant nightmare of any security breach.

Take control of your site's security - a few minutes of prevention now can spare you the sleepless nights and headaches of a breach.

Test Your Configuration Now

Download the PHP Security Audit script to test your PHP configuration to identify common exploit vectors, see recommendations for shared environment settings (if you provide hosting), and get an exhaustive list of settings to tweak if you'd prefer to keep your system on lock-down.
